Variable versus fixed over the last 25 years...

If you are one of the many Canadians mulling over the 'variable or fixed' decision, you may find this helpful. This chart, provided by my lending partner CMLS, details variable versus fixed rates over the last 25 years. You can see that there are times when the variable and fixed are close (like right now) but, for the majority of the time, variable wins.
