Final Interest Rate Announcement for 2021

Yesterday, the Bank of Canada made its final rate decision of 2021.
No change was expected and no change was made to the benchmark rate. For those with variable-rate mortgages, or home equity lines of credit, you will have no change to your interest rate. Variable-rate mortgages are still extremely low and if you are okay with change and a bit of uncertainty you may reap savings over those with fixed-rate mortgages.
