One of my lending partners is offering an interest free payment for the first 3 months of your mortgage. You would only be responsible for the principal portion of your mortgage payment for the first 90 days, saving you hundreds of dollars each month. The lender is paying the interest on your behalf so it is not added on to the loan. This is being offered at a very competitive interest rate.
I have another lender that is offering the option of a 1%, 2% or 3% cash back on your mortgage to give you some peace of mind.
In addition to these offers for new customers, mortgage lenders are offering up to 6 months mortgage payment deferrals for existing homeowners to help them through COVID-19 related financial challenges.
