It's okay to splurge once in a while!

We've heard so much in the news lately about how Canadians needs to put the brakes on their personal spending and the government has been cautioning us to slow down for quite some time. But, this article is a breath of fresh air! It's a good reminder that saving is important (very important), but that it's also okay to enjoy the fruits of our labour and splurge once in a while. A $270 dinner is a bit steep but sounds like it was a once in a lifetime experience. Life is all about striking a balance and when finances are involved; my motto is to save responsibly but to also allow myself to enjoy the good things in life.
